Cattail Valley Ranch is a small, family-run training facility based on a hobby farm a few miles north of Fosston, MN. We are avid outdoors-people and enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, and trail riding. Our dogs are included in everything that we do, so they need to have the proper training to behave appropriately when in public and around other dogs.  

With our training practices, they have earned multiple competitive obedience and hunt test titles and have also competed at the AKC National Championship Level. They also have earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen Award and Therapy Dog Certification through Therapy Dogs International.

We have a passion for helping people with similar interests build a solid working relationship with their canine companion so that they can enjoy those same hobbies safely and confidently.
